FAMILY CAMP

The Family Camp is especially designed in its architecture and programmes to serve the growing need for allowing families an opportunity to have quality time together. In keeping with the environment it is built from the natural limestone, is situated on the banks of the Hermanus estuary and overlooks the Kleinrivier mountains.

It consists of a meeting hall, "kiddies" hall and playground and sleeping units with toilet and showers. The sleeping units have different combinations for family groupings. It has a central park area with walkways through the milkwoods, ironwoods and cherry woods.

It will be a fully catered facility allowing mothers and others a break from household chores!

Not only is it ideal for families but it can also be used for leadership, senior citizens, cell groups, marriage and staff enrichment, family reunions (extended family), seminars and workshops etc. Being situated within walking distance of the Stables camp the two camps can be used as one camp or booked as two separate camps.

This camp is still in progress but will be partly functional by 2010.
